Site Logistics and Property Accountability Lead - Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC), Hohenfels, Germany
The Site Logistics and Property Accountability Lead manages daily on-site supply, warehousing, and property control operations supporting JMRC at Hohenfels. This individual directly leads and oversees the secure warehousing, strictly audited issuing, and perpetual accounting of Sensitive Items, high-value government property, and operational materials. The Site Logistics and Property Accountability Lead ensures full compliance with FAR / DFARS regulations, Army property management standards, and the approved Property Management Plan while supervising other logistics personnel.

Site Logistics and Property Accountability Lead - Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC), Hohenfels, Germany
The Site Logistics and Property Accountability Lead manages daily on-site supply, warehousing, and property control operations supporting JMRC at Hohenfels. Responsibilities
Sensitive Items & Secure Warehousing Operations:
- Manage end-to-end receipt, secure storage, cyclic physical audits, and controlled issuing of Sensitive Items and high-value materials in accordance with Army security and inventory regulations.
- Maintain 100% accountability for sensitive property, ensuring 100% compliance during mandatory monthly, quarterly, and annual cyclic inventories.
- Enforce physical security, strict key control, access logs, and formal chain-of-custody documentation for all sensitive storage spaces.
Government Property Accountability & Compliance:
- Serve as the on-site primary point of contact for Government Property Management, ensuring full alignment with FAR / DFARS Clause 52.245-1 and V2X procedures.
- Oversee material receipts, property tagging, sub-hand receipts, and movement of Government Furnished Property (GFP).
- Lead internal Contractor Self-Assessments (CSA), perform inventory audits, and draft / submit formal Government Property Loss (LTDD) investigations when required.
- Coordinate disposition and excess property turn-ins through GCSS-Army, ETID, and the Property Administrator (PA) / Plant Clearance Officer.
JMRC On-Site Logistics & Floor Supervision:
- Supervise on-site logistics and warehouse personnel, managing daily work distribution, schedule coverage, and operational safety.
- Oversee day-to-day receiving, staging, and material distribution for the JMRC Commo Shop.
- Maintain accurate, real-time stock levels to support training rotation timelines.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field and 10+ years of directly related logistics / property experience; OR
- Master's Degree and 5+ years of directly related experience; OR
- Associate Degree / High School Diploma and 10+ years of hands-on military or contractor logistics and other property management / inventory experience.
- Demonstrated Experience: Direct background managing property accountability and Sensitive Items within a military operational or contractor support environment (U.S. Army / DoD preferred).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with supply tracking systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of FAR Part 45 / DFARS 245 property management clauses, Army Property Accountability procedures (AR 735-5 / AR 190-11 for sensitive items), and DD Form 200 (FLIPL) processes.
- Office & Communication: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data reporting, audit tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or ability to re-activate / maintain).
- HAZMAT Certification (Title 49 CFR / ADR / IATA).
- National Property Management Association (NPMA) certification (CPPS, CPPA, or CPPM).
- Prior military experience as a 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist), 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist), or civilian equivalent at a major training center (JMRC/NTC/JRTC).
