Data Visualization Specialist (Palantir Foundry)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Visualization Specialist with expertise in Palantir Foundry, data engineering, analytics, and application development to transform complex data into meaningful insights and operationally impactful solutions. This individual will work closely with clients, engineers, program managers, and domain experts to design and deliver data-driven applications, dashboards, and visualizations that support critical business and mission decisions.

Key Responsibilities
-Data Visualization & Analytics
-Design and develop intuitive, impactful dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions that enable informed decision-making.
-Transform complex structured and unstructured data into clear, actionable visualizations.
-Identify trends, patterns, and operational insights through data exploration and analysis.
-Create visual products that support executive-level reporting as well as operational workflows.
-Palantir Foundry Development
-Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines within the Palantir Foundry platform.
-Develop transforms for both structured (tabular) and unstructured datasets.
-Apply best practices for scalable, maintainable, and production-grade pipeline development.
-Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues while improving performance and reliability.
-Configure and manage data connections between Foundry and external data sources.
-Support ontology design and implementation by developing pipelines that power ontology objects and relationships.
-Utilize Foundry applications and platform capabilities to support enterprise analytics and visualization needs.
-Client Collaboration
-Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and data requirements.
-Translate client needs into technical solutions and actionable development roadmaps.
Present findings, recommendations, and visual insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
-Application Development
-Develop and enhance data-centric applications that support operational decision-making.
-Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate solutions based on user feedback.
-Contribute to full lifecycle development, deployment, and maintenance of production applications.
-Ensure solutions align with business objectives and scalability requirements.
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-Experience developing solutions within Palantir Foundry.
-Hands-on experience building and maintaining:
-Data pipelines
-Data integrations and connections
-Ontologies
-Production-grade applications
-Strong experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets.
-Proficiency in programming languages such as:
-Python
-TypeScript
-SQL
-Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
-Experience creating dashboards, analytical applications, and reporting solutions.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
-Ability to work independently while managing priorities and deliverables.
