Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
Location: Vidor, TX (on-site location)
Duration: Temporary
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to support day-to-day Human Resources functions and serve as a resource for employees and supervisors. This temporary position will provide exposure to multiple HR areas including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, attendance, HR administration, and compliance.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to support day-to-day Human Resources functions and serve as a resource for employees and supervisors. This temporary position will provide exposure to multiple HR areas including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, attendance, HR administration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruiting activities: job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure completion of employment documentation
- Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, attendance, payroll-related matters, and general HR procedures
- Support supervisors with employee relations, attendance issues, performance documentation, and disciplinary processes
- Process employee changes: new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and qualifying life event questions
- Support leave administration and coordinate required documentation
- Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, employee communications, and documentation
- Assist with training, employee engagement activities, recruiting events, and HR initiatives
- Ensure HR practices and documentation are consistent with company and regulatory requirements
- Participate in HR projects and process-improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR administration
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with employees, supervisors, and management
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial HR experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Labor relations experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Paylocity software is a plus
