Top Secret Cleared Information Security Analyst

Our client, a defense contractor, is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Information Security Analyst for a full-time position in Point Mugu, CA. The Information Security Analyst will work onsite daily, and will support secure information systems by implementing and monitoring security controls, conducting assessments, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting system accreditation activities.

The Information Security Analyst will work closely with technical teams to protect networks and systems, respond to security issues, and integrate security practices into software development and deployment environments.

Required Skills:

• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
• 3+ years of professional information security or cybersecurity experience
• Strong DevSecOps experience, including integrating security controls, tools, and automated security checks into CI/CD environments
• Experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• DoD 8140 IAT/IAM Level II certification, such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent qualifying certification
• Experience implementing and monitoring cybersecurity controls, policies, and procedures
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, security audits, risk reviews, and compliance assessments
• Experience preparing and maintaining security compliance and system accreditation documentation
• Experience supporting cybersecurity incident response, including security breaches, malware, and other threats
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field; an additional 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills:

• Linux experience
• Experience supporting Navy, NAVAIR, or other DoD environments
• Experience working with software development and operations teams in a DevSecOps environment

The expected salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000 annually.
The posted range is an estimate; the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications and will be aligned with internal equity.
