Duties
Help
  • Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services.
  • Participates in the planning and deployment of life cycle hardware. Identifies and resolves issues and problems.
  • Prepares and updates instructions and standard operating procedures. Supports and manages NIPRNET workstations, Point of Sale Systems and Hospitality Management Systems.
  • Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrade and troubleshooting.
  • Presents formal and informal training to customers. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
Work experience, education, and/or specialized intensive training sufficient to demonstrate Information Technology (IT) knowledge and skill in:
1. Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology (IT) Customer Support Services.
2. Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components.
3. Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers
4. Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests.

HIGHLY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
1. Must possess and provide a valid CompTIA Security + Certification document.
