AI/ML Engineer - Clearance Required

Job Description:

LMI is seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to support Army logistics enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, business transformation, and systems integration initiatives. Successfully demonstrate competency in project execution, client delivery, critical thinking, relationship management, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position is part of the team supporting the Army HQDA G-4 ELISS program, delivering innovative solutions that enable critical Army logistics and sustainment missions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to support Army logistics and sustainment missions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.
• Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to ensure high-quality input for AI/ML models.
• Evaluate and optimize AI/ML models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and methodologies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ethical AI principles and best practices.
