Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Shift:Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Central Time

What's a typical day as a Claims Review Specialist? You'll be:
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of workers compensation claims-including timely filing, thorough documentation, proactive follow-up, and resolution in coordination with insurance adjusters.
  • Implementing and coordinating limited-duty and transitional work assignments for employees.
  • Acting as a liaison between employees, supervisors, medical providers, and insurance adjusters to support effective claim handling and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Collaborating with managers to develop and implement safe, gradual return-to-work plans.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential claim files and ensuring compliance with all state and federal reporting requirements.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports and data related to claims and return-to-work activities.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma, equivalent credential, or higher.
  • Possess three or more years of experience managing workers compensation claims, particularly in a multijurisdictional environment.
  • Have experience as a Claims Coordinator within a corporate Risk Management team (preferred).
  • Are comfortable working with Risk Management Information Systems.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of workers compensation laws, regulations, and claims processes.
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • Are able to work on-site in Dallas, TX and are authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship is available).
