Description:

Our client seeks a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure, resilient cloud and hybrid network architectures across AWS and Azure. You will design, implement, and manage advanced networking solutions that support high-availability, scalable, and secure environments for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud and hybrid network architectures on AWS and Azure
• Configure and manage advanced networking services including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network ACLs
• Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection
• Deploy and manage load balancers, NAT gateways, and VPN connections
• Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
• Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and developers to ensure seamless integration and compliance
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure network health and security
• Stay current with emerging cloud networking trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• 7+ years of experience in cloud networking, with at least 3 years specifically on AWS and Azure
• Deep understanding of AWS and Azure networking services and features
• Experience with designing and implementing secure hybrid cloud architectures
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices
• Proven experience with configuring and managing network infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Clearance: Secret clearance required
