Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project cost estimation and budgeting for complex nuclear and construction projects
- Develop detailed cost estimates using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate cost projections
- Monitor project costs and variances, providing regular reporting to senior management
- Develop and maintain cost databases and historical cost data for future project estimation
- Support client meetings and presentations regarding project cost status and forecasts
- Mentor and guide junior estimators in best practices and methodologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project cost estimation, preferably in nuclear or heavy construction
- Proven track record managing large, complex projects with budgets exceeding $100M
- Strong understanding of project controls methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera, Costar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to interface with senior client stakeholders
- PMI certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred
