Summary:
• Build, configure, and manage scalable cloud platform infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Develop and integrate custom software components and open-source solutions using Python, Go, and Bash.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and automation tooling like Helm.
• Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and support modern Big Data platforms within an Agile framework.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design and implement core architecture, capabilities, and infrastructure as code across cloud environments.
• Deploy, administer, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, container runtimes, and deployment automation tools.
• Automate system configurations and operating system orchestration using Ansible, Puppet, and shell scripting.
• Construct, test, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate in Agile development sprints utilizing Jira and Confluence to track deliverables and milestones.
• Support integration with distributed Big Data platforms including Apache Spark and Hadoop ecosystems.
Telework:
This role features a hybrid arrangement with an average of 1 to 2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
