Security Escort

Job Description

The Security Escort provides physical escort and monitoring of uncleared personnel within INSCOM Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). Security Escorts coordinate with Government security and access control personnel to verify the identity of escorted individuals, brief them on facility security and safety responsibilities and prohibited items, and remain with uncleared personnel for the duration of their work activities. Escorts also ensure classified material is removed from view and appropriately secured before uncleared personnel are allowed into work areas.

S ecurity Escort support is generally performed during core hours of 0730-1630, Monday through Friday .

Required Skills

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Possess current CPR certification
• Possess current AED certification
• Be able to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping for up to 12 hours
• Be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
• Be able to understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders/instructions, and training materials
• Must be willing and able to undergo a CI polygraph
