The Access Control Officer (ACO) provides unarmed access control services at INSCOM and Major Subordinate Command secure facilities. The ACO controls the access of personnel, equipment, and media entering and exiting secure facilities; conducts face-to-face identification checks; verifies security clearances and SCI access; issues escort-required badges to uncleared personnel; inspects equipment and media authorization forms; uses Government-provided security equipment, systems, databases, and Central Monitoring Stations such as Lenel; maintains shift logs and visitor records; conducts equipment accountability; and reports security incidents and emergency conditions.

Required Skills
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles
- Possess current CPR certification
- Possess current AED certification
- Be able to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping for up to 12 hours
- Be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
- Be able to understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders/instructions, and training materials AED certification
- Must be willing to work in a 24/7 mission environment
- Must be willing and able to undergo a CI polygraph
