Job Summary:
Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager III to support a company supporting U.S. Army aeromedical and injury biomechanics research initiatives. This position is onsite in Fort Rucker, AL .
Responsibilities for the Project Manager III include:
- Lead and coordinate injury biomechanics research and development projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and risk assessments.
- Monitor project performance, milestones, and deliverables while providing status updates to leadership.
- Coordinate meetings, technical reviews, presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Support data management activities, documentation control, and quality assurance efforts.
- Collaborate with government personnel, academia, industry partners, and research customers.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for research studies, testing events, and field data collections.
Required Qualifications for the Project Manager III include:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience.
- Experience managing project scope, budget, schedules, performance, and risk.
- Knowledge of medical research, injury biomechanics, laboratory operations, or data management environments.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to travel as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation for the Project Manager III includes:
- Salary Range: $98,000 - $108,000 annually.
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Maternity Leave, Military Reserve Pay Offset.
