PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
At Refined Concepts, you won’t just be a typical admin — you’ll design, implement, and secure complex solutions that enable critical mission data to move rapidly, securely, and with high availability at all classification levels. This role is designed for senior engineers who want real technical ownership, influence over enterprise mission systems and security architecture, and the opportunity to build and operate solutions that directly support national security operations.
You’ll work in a high-trust, high-impact environment supporting open and classified mission systems; collaborating with systems, cybersecurity, and cloud teams to design, integrate, and sustain accredited solutions. Previous experience in cross-domain architecture, raise-the-bar, and presentation skills to senior level customer security staff are additional desired skills on top of the requirements below. Experience in space ground systems, communications transport, and tuning of systems for high throughput read/write operations for all OCI levels is also highly desired.
REQUIREMENTS
• Able to serve as an expert within own function and discipline
• Interpret internal or external mission and security requirements and recommend best practices
• Solve complex problems, taking a broad perspective to identify innovative, secure data transfer solutions
• Comfortable working in a linux environment, tuning operating system configurations, and working in a variety of programming languages as required
• Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
• 10+ years of experience supporting commercial or government customers
• Possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
• 4-year degree or recognized equivalent through work experience
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Salary: $190,000 – $225,000
