Senior Cyber Security Analyst III (ISSM)
Location: Clearfield, UT (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Required
Certification: CISSP or IAM Level II Certification Required

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst III (ISSM) to support mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) programs in Clearfield, Utah. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with a background in Network Administration, Windows Administration, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity Operations who has experience performing security vulnerability assessments and navigating complex compliance requirements.
As a senior member of the cybersecurity team, you will partner directly with government customers, engineers, and program stakeholders to design secure solutions, support Risk Management Framework (RMF) initiatives, and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing position requiring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

STIG implementation and remediation

Security documentation and policy development
Certification Requirements
Must possess an IAM Level II certification, including one of the following:
CISSP (Preferred)
CAP
CASP+ CE
CISM
GSLC
CCISO
Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance, OR Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an Interim Top Secret Clearance
Key Responsibilities
Lead cybersecurity initiatives across multiple DoD programs.
Design, engineer, and implement secure technical solutions for customer environments.
Partner with RMF teams to ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements.
Review and support RMF authorization packages submitted for government approval.
Coordinate directly with DoD agencies and government stakeholders.
Gather security artifacts and assist programs in obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO).
Conduct vulnerability assessments, STIG reviews, and remediation activities.
Support FISMA compliance reviews and cybersecurity audits.
Perform requirements traceability and gap analysis to ensure security controls align with mission needs.
Review system compliance with cybersecurity regulations, directives, and best practices.
Create and maintain policies, procedures, topology diagrams, boundary diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals and provide technical leadership.
Present cybersecurity findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP-ISSAP certifications.
Formal training in Risk Management Framework (RMF) or IT Audit methodologies.
Experience coordinating with government customers during accreditation efforts.
Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity guidance, FISMA, RMF, STIGs, and NIST frameworks.
Experience supporting enterprise-level security initiatives within federal or defense environments.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule with approximately three days onsite in Clearfield, UT and two days remote. The team operates in a collaborative environment focused on professional growth, technical excellence, and mission success. Due to the nature of defense programs, work may be deadline-driven around major project milestones and authorization activities.
