Position Overview
SDA Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a government information technology and managed security services program. This position will provide project leadership across technical, operational, financial, and customer-facing activities.
The Project Manager will oversee project execution, tasks, risks, resources, planning, quality assurance, schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communications while coordinating closely with security engineering, security operations, program management, and customer stakeholders.
This position is fully remote; however, candidates should preferably reside within approximately 60–100 miles of Falls Church, Virginia, to accommodate occasional onsite meetings or program requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide overall project management, including task management, risk management, resource execution, project planning, and project quality assurance.
Manage project issues and scope changes associated with projects within the transformation portfolio.
Prepare and provide weekly project status reports and conduct weekly project reviews.
Track project schedules and maintain required project lifecycle documentation.
Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP), Acquisition Project Baseline (APB), and other applicable project lifecycle management documentation.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize cost, schedule, and technical risks associated with project execution.
Develop and maintain effective communication among all project stakeholders.
Establish and improve processes for coordination and communication between Security Engineering, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Program Management personnel.
Coordinate stakeholder meetings and other project communication events.
Collaborate with technical teams supporting activities that may include:
Security integration guidance
Logical security architecture definition
Infrastructure security design and implementation
Collection and refinement of security requirements
Security risk assessments
Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
Security engineering support
Security policy guidance
Manage project financials to support achievement of project financial goals.
Interface directly with customers to understand requirements, address needs, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ensure project milestones are delivered according to schedule.
Review and approve project deliverables.
Ensure applicable Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 5 years of project/project management experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience related to IT and services management.
Demonstrated experience managing projects, tasks, resources, schedules, risks, deliverables, and customer requirements.
Demonstrated leadership experience and skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical teams, program leadership, company management, and government/customer stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience supporting and working on State and Local Government contracts.
Experience supporting IT, cybersecurity, information security, or managed security services programs.
Experience coordinating across Security Engineering, Security Operations, and Program Management organizations.
Experience working with government customers and technical stakeholders.
