Job Description

Senior Salesforce Developer
Target experience: 7+ years of total IT experience, including 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
Summary Senior Salesforce developer who can own solutions end-to-end configuration, customization, and code. Comfortable initiating and leading delivery on Salesforce projects, including taking a role in architecture and design decisions, not just implementing someone else's spec. Mentors junior developers and holds the team to a high coding standard.
Certifications
• At least one current, active Salesforce certification required. Platform Developer I is the preferred baseline; Administrator or Platform App Builder also satisfy this requirement
• Preferred, in addition to the required certification: Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder (whichever was not used to satisfy the requirement above)
Core Technical Skills
• End-to-end Salesforce solution development: configuration and customization, Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, OmniStudio
• Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, JavaScript, Lightning Design System
• Migrating Salesforce Classic features to Lightning Experience, including converting Visualforce pages to Lightning components
• Scheduled and Batch Apex classes
• REST and SOAP API integrations, OAuth, Single Sign-On
• At least one of: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Experience Cloud, Knowledge
• Deployment and DevOps tooling: Git, Jenkins, Jira, ANT, Change Sets, Force.com IDE
• Code reviews, debugging, and production defect resolution
Representative Experience
• Developed end-to-end Salesforce solutions using configuration and customization, including Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning components, and OmniStudio
• Took a role in developing and designing solution architecture on at least one Salesforce project, not purely an implementer
• Performed independent code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and supported UAT to ensure quality deliverables
• Debugged and resolved production defects
• Participated in Agile ceremonies, analyzed assigned user stories, and resolved gaps between stories and business requirements
• Mentored junior developers and helped maintain team coding standards
• Preferred, Not Required
◦ MuleSoft or Informatica Cloud (or other ETL/integration platform) experience
◦ Experience leading teams or projects, beyond code review and mentoring
◦ Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
Client-Facing Standards Candidate must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility consulting environment and representing the engagement directly to client stakeholders. This includes:
• Polished written and verbal communication; able to present status updates, technical explanations, and demo walkthroughs to non-technical client staff without jargon overload
• Professional presence in client meetings, including punctuality, preparation, and composure under client questioning
• Ability to take direction and feedback from client stakeholders gracefully and incorporate it without requiring heavy handholding
• Comfortable working alongside other delivery teams on the program and matching their communication cadence and documentation standards (status reports, meeting notes, clean handoff documentation)
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required
Background Investigation: Candidate must be able to pass Public Trust adjudication and obtain a PIV card.
