Vietnamese Language Instructor
Location: Northern Virginia

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Vietnamese Language Instructors with professional-level proficiency in speaking, reading, and listening. Instructors will work a full-time schedule consisting of approximately 20 hours of classroom instruction and 20 hours dedicated to lesson development, student assessment, testing, and related instructional tasks. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about language education, cultural knowledge, and learner success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Vietnamese language instruction to adult learners.
- Develop mission-focused lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
- Conduct foreign language testing and evaluate student performance.
- Utilize modern language-learning technologies and teaching methodologies.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency through editing and quality control of instructional content.
- Produce clear, professional reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with senior instructors and participate in required program training.
- Acquire certification in mission-based foreign language instruction and testing as required by program standards.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching adults, completed within the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated language instruction experience and language testing experience.
- Professional proficiency in Vietnamese speaking, reading, and listening.
- Experience with content management, course design, editing, and quality control.
- Strong understanding of relevant regional history, culture, politics, and economy.
- Ability to work under direction and adapt to established instructional frameworks.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Language, or a related field.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced language learning tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional instructional environment.
