s part of the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) team, you will play a key role delivering Space Vehicle (SV) and payload flight software (FSW) toward our continued success. Our team delivers on-board functionality, thoroughly tested, and flight ready. Our support doesn't end at launch - we are available for our customers throughout operations and sustainment phases. Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineering Technical Lead (Software Lead) within the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) you will contribute to our mission by:
- Managing the top level software architecture for the project or product
- Managing intra-team dependencies (inside SSPL)
- Supporting the Project Lead in maintaining the whole project roadmap
- Managing Agile Epics and Stories allocated to Software Team
- Approving architectural changes for the project or product
- Managing requirements flowdown and integration and test activities across SSPL products
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven delivery of complex, high visibility initiatives in a professional engineering environment, with a track record of owning the end to end cycle
- Proficient in one or more of the following: Python, C/C++
- Experience completing technical trade-offs, clearly articulating rationale, and communicating decisions to product, operations, and other stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative mindset, demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, and work to raise the entire team's skill level
Desired Skills
- Basic knowledge of software tools and systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in the IT Software industry
- Experience with detailed document review

Full-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
