[About the Role] Join a leading defense technology innovator as a Project Engineering
- Cleared Contractor (L5), where you will lead large-scale Electronic Warfare projects of critical significance. As a subject matter expert, you will drive engineering initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary point of contact between project management and key stakeholders. This Clifton, NJ-based role offers the chance to directly impact national security programs and shape the future of advanced defense systems.
[Responsibilities]
- Oversee day-to-day tactical operations for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with customer and Program Manager expectations
- Coordinate cost, schedule, and technical aspects of complex engineering projects, delivering on time and within budget
- Serve as the central liaison among project management, engineering teams, and line management
- Monitor project status, manage schedules, and deliver comprehensive status reports
- Identify project challenges and develop effective resolutions to achieve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals
- Establish mechanisms for tracking project progress, enabling timely interventions and problem-solving
- Facilitate resource allocation and ensure all reviews and approvals are secured
- Conduct project analyses during phase-down to inform future engineering missions and programs
- Drive improvements in processes, systems, and products, contributing to operational excellence
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Extensive experience managing large-scale Electronic Warfare or comparable technology projects
- In-depth knowledge of the full program lifecycle and lifecycle models such as Waterfall and Agile
- Proven expertise in project management, cost control, and schedule adherence
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional and external collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to lead with minimal oversight and make impactful decisions

- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and compliance
- Familiarity with modern project management tools and methodologies
