Job Description
We're seeking an IT Specialist to join a long-term Department of Defense support program that helps maintain critical IT connectivity and operations across multiple locations worldwide. What You'll Do
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT hardware and software
Provide break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
Support network-connected equipment and end-user systems
Respond to service requests and technical issues in a customer-facing environment
Gather and analyze technical requirements to help support operational needs
Work closely with team members to resolve issues and deliver high-quality support
Interact with users of varying technical backgrounds, including senior personnel
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain/maintain one (Interim Secret may be considered)
Security+ CE certification required (A+ CE or Network+ CE may be considered to start)
Experience with desktop support, help desk, troubleshooting, or IT customer support
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with ticketing systems
General networking knowledge
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
