Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to provide advanced technical support for mission-critical communication systems operating within a federal department. This is a fully on-site position in Centennial, Colorado. This position conducts advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across networks, applications, and system configurations while partnering with engineers and end users to ensure operational continuity. The role serves as the escalation point for high-priority incidents and will require operational readiness during all shifts.
Responsibilities of the Help Desk Analyst:
Resolve any incidents that have not been remedied by tier 1 support
Conduct advanced troubleshooting across mission applications, network infrastructure, and system configurations
Diagnose, resolve, and document connectivity and operational issues that interfere with tactical communications, collaboration tools, and secure network environments
Monitor system health, performance, and operation status to proactively identify and address issues that may arise
Collaborate with engineers, operational stakeholders, and subject matter experts to resolve complex technical problems and implement corrective actions
Qualifications for the Help Desk Analyst:
3-5 years of help desk or technical support experience
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience troubleshooting Windows environments and enterprise applications
Knowledge of incident management processes, advanced troubleshooting techniques, and root-cause analysis
Experience supporting secure government or highly regulated IT environments
Eligibility to obtain a Common Access Card
Active secret clearance
Compensation for Help Desk Analyst
$80,000-$85,000 depending on experience
