HX5 is currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Manager to join our team in Dayton, Ohio at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to support the C-5 Program Office and will apply knowledge of DoD test and evaluation processes to assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs (including any applicable FAA certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform research activities to define minimum test requirements, definition of task scope, and selection of alternatives.
• Prepare, maintain, update, and review the full range of test plans and test-related documentation.
• Provide data collection assistance and evaluate the data sufficiency.
• Review, analyze, and identify potential updates to TCTOs, drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), and other applicable technical data.

Education and Experience

• Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience;
  • High school diploma, twenty (20) years of relevant experience, and eight (8) years of DoD experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.
  • Master’s degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.
• Must have knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground based systems. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.  

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. 
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
