DevSecOps Software Developer
This position is for a DevSecOps Software Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing secure software development practices, integrating security into the DevOps pipeline, and ensuring code quality and compliance.

This position is for a DevSecOps Software Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing secure software development practices, integrating security into the DevOps pipeline, and ensuring code quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Integrate security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews and security assessments
- Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
- Document and communicate security requirements and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development and DevOps practices
- Experience with security tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
