TS Cleared Sr. Network Specialist

Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Position Summary

Zachary Piper is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to support a high-performance computing environment. This role is responsible for systems engineering, software integration, testing, application development, and overall IT solution design supporting complex technical infrastructure and mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network solutions.
• Develop and support system architectures involving hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
• Analyze, develop, test, and deploy software applications and utility programs.
• Evaluate user requirements and develop technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform quality assurance reviews and testing of software products and system enhancements.
• Develop system test plans, test strategies, and execute system-level testing activities.
• Research, design, develop, and maintain operating system-level software and network distribution software.
• Define operational specifications and analyze software requirements.
• Design and support database solutions as part of enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to development and engineering teams when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing.
• Strong understanding of networked and enterprise computing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• High-performance computing (HPC) environments.
• Enterprise software or systems integration projects.
• Database design and development.
• Network infrastructure and distributed systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, squat, and move equipment as needed.

Compensation

• Salary range: $110,000 - $134,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
• Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Sick Leave (as required by law).
