Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Foreign Military Sales Program Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position with 1-2 days required onsite.
This Program Analyst in this position will support the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Japan Programs. Serving as a direct report to the Japan Combat Systems Engineer (CSE), this position functions primarily as the day-to-day support of the USG Japan Aegis Team within PMW 680 and will cover several aspects of acquisition and technical support of the Aegis Combat System's Computer Program and supporting hardware.

This Program Analyst in this position will support the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Japan Programs. Serving as a direct report to the Japan Combat Systems Engineer (CSE), this position functions primarily as the day-to-day support of the USG Japan Aegis Team within PMW 680 and will cover several aspects of acquisition and technical support of the Aegis Combat System's Computer Program and supporting hardware.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Requirements review to help improve CDRL oversight/quality
- CSE IWG admin management, like meeting minutes, and helping track actions
- PMW 680 cross-functional collaboration for safety, system security and test report reviews
- PARM collaboration lead - ATR, IWS 5, Dahlgren Safety, IW3L
- CSE CDRL review, management, and potential input for CPARs
- Technical collaboration between PMW 680, Lockheed Martin and Japanese Navy for system design, installation, testing, and deployments.
- Up to 25% travel, including trips to Japan, NSWC PHD, and Moorestown, NJ
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. Navy combat system engineering role
- Experience with the AEGIS combat system
- Experience tracking Navy Programs through design and testing
- Professional experience collaborating with Navy Program Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) and/or other stakeholder to resolve technical and programmatic issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM area
- Familiarity with FMS and its international policies and processes
- FMS experience, related to combat system engineering
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a current or active secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
