Work you'll do
As a Senior Copy Generalist on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing strategic communications plans that align messaging, audience needs, program goals, and mission priorities
- Creating narrative frameworks, key messages, and executive-ready content for internal and external stakeholder audiences
- Advising leaders on crisis, issues, and reputational communications in time-sensitive or high-visibility situations
- Coordinating across government, legal, investigative, executive, and interagency stakeholders to align communications strategy and execution
- Translating complex operational information into clear recommendations, communication products, and performance-oriented reporting

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Public Policy, English, Marketing, Business, or similar
- 4+ years of experience in strategic communications, executive communications, public affairs, content strategy, or crisis communications
- 4+ years of experience supporting government, homeland security, law enforcement, justice, or public sector programs
- 1+ years of experience developing communication plans, message architecture, and audience-specific content for multiple stakeholder groups
- Active Secret clearance required
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Public Policy, English, Marketing, or Business
- Experience advising senior executives or program leadership on issues management and stakeholder communications
- Experience supporting crisis communications or reputational risk communications
- Experience translating operational, investigative, legal, or policy information into leadership-ready written deliverables
- Experience using performance measures or reporting to assess communications effectiveness
