Duration: Approximately 3–5 Days Onsite
We are seeking a professional and experienced Cleared Fiber Engineer to support a short-term onsite project in Charleston, SC. The engineer will assist with adjusting, cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting existing fiber connections to ensure proper performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and adjust existing fiber connections as needed
- Clean fiber connectors and components
- Perform fiber testing and verify connectivity/performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve fiber-related issues
- Document test results and any adjustments made
- Coordinate with the onsite team throughout the project
Qualifications:
- Active security clearance required
- Strong hands-on fiber optic experience
- Experience with fiber cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with standard fiber testing tools and equipment
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently onsite
