Job Description:
Systems Engineer – Specialist role to work within ISR Networks Systems team. Position will work within various programs such as Global Hawk, Triton, Hawklink, and P-8A. This role will focus on working with requirements and system design from the inception of the contract to the delivery and sustainment of product.
Essential Functions:
Support the Program Manager and Program Engineer with Systems level technical support
Define and verify System Level Requirements
Work Product Documentation such as System and lower level specifications, Interface Control Documents, Block Diagrams, and Interconnect diagrams.
Testing and Troubleshooting product in a lab environment.
Using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to manage the Cost and Schedule of engineering tasking.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Other Engineering disciplines accepted with Systems Engineering Experience)
5+ years experience in Systems Engineering (or other related engineering disciplines)
Experience working in Systems Engineering and with Engineering processes.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in working with EVMS as a Control Account Manager Experience working on DoD contracts
Experience working within a lab setting and performing Design Verification type testing.
