Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and execution of a large-scale commercial facility project with approximately $50M–$100M in project scope, including a complex laboratory build-out and supporting facility infrastructure.
• Manage overall project performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost controls, risk registers, schedules, and project reporting to ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities across multiple engineering disciplines and facility systems.
• Utilize integrated project schedules to monitor progress, identify potential delays, establish priorities, and support project execution and decision-making in coordination with dedicated project controls and scheduling personnel.
• Manage interfaces among laboratory operations, facility operations, engineering teams, construction personnel, subcontractors, technical stakeholders, and owner representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide executive-level reporting on construction progress, project financials, schedule performance, risks, and key milestones while supporting capital planning and investment decisions.
• Oversee and coordinate project activities related to quality assurance, procurement, subcontract management, contract administration, change management, and project documentation.
• Support construction field activities as needed and perform additional duties as assigned to ensure successful project execution and turnover.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a closely related field with significant experience managing complex engineering, construction, industrial, laboratory, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, multidisciplinary projects with significant responsibility for project scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and overall execution.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, risk management, and executive-level financial and project performance reporting.
• Experience managing or coordinating design-build projects involving multiple engineering disciplines, contractors, subcontractors, facility stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Working knowledge of procurement, subcontract management, quality assurance, contract administration, proposals, change management, commissioning, and project turnover processes.
• Ability to interpret and effectively utilize detailed project schedules to establish priorities, identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage aggressive schedules, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder requirements in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, technical personnel, engineering teams, operations, construction personnel, and external partners.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other relevant project or construction management certification.
• Previous experience managing projects valued at approximately $50M or greater, particularly complex facility, laboratory, industrial, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Experience supporting laboratory build-outs and facility utility systems such as process gases, cooling water, process water, electrical distribution, laboratory exhaust, chemical hood systems, and other balance-of-plant infrastructure.
• Previous experience working in radiological, nuclear, or other highly regulated technical environments.
• Familiarity with NRC-regulated environments, nuclear quality programs, or similar quality and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience providing project performance, financial, schedule, and risk reporting directly to senior executives or other organizational leadership.

Location/Work Arrangement:
• This position is in Oak Ridge, TN.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday – Friday 40-hour week.
