We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. This role requires deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available systems on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions
- Automate deployment pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
- Manage and optimize AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
- Implement CI/CD processes and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Monitor system performance and implement automated scaling solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
- Implement security best practices and compliance measures across AWS environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Extensive experience with DevOps tools and practices
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Prometheus
