Job Description

The PM/SME Services position will provide subject matter expert acquisition support across the acquisition management lifecycle, including acquisition planning, requirements definition, solicitation, and post-award management.
Responsibilities include developing acquisition plans and procurement milestone schedules; performing market research activities; and preparing and reviewing procurement packages and requirements documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and Performance Work Statements (PWSs).
The PM/SME will provide recommendations concerning the selection of contract type and method of acquisition and will assist with presenting acquisition planning documentation for higher-level reviews and approvals. The position will participate in meetings with industry and mission partners and provide acquisition-related guidance and support to program office personnel.
The PM/SME will apply extensive acquisition knowledge and experience to analyze requirements, support acquisition strategy and planning, develop and review acquisition documentation, and provide recommendations to support successful acquisition outcomes. The position requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with Government and mission stakeholders, and provide subject matter expertise throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Requires 12+ years of relevant experience performing actions specific to the labor category, with relevant experience within the last 2 years. Work is highly independent and requires the ability to perform responsibilities with minimal oversight.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of acquisition management activities across the acquisition lifecycle, including acquisition planning, requirements development, market research, solicitation support, contract administration, and post-award management.
Demonstrates extensive experience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), procurement packages, acquisition plans, and procurement milestone schedules.
Demonstrates the ability to provide recommendations concerning contract type and methods of acquisition, support higher-level acquisition reviews and approvals, and communicate effectively with Government personnel, industry representatives, and mission partners.
Demonstrates the ability to analyze complex acquisition requirements, develop sound recommendations, work independently with minimal oversight, and provide subject matter expertise in support of program and acquisition objectives.
