BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Systems Engineer to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next Reentry Vehicle critical to the ICBM weapon systems. This role is vital to the success of the Critical Design Review (CDR) phase, specifically providing specialized support for systems engineering Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) review.
The successful candidate will act as the primary bridge between technical execution and data management. While Integrated Project Team (IPT) SMEs conduct "vertical slice" reviews of CDRLs, this position will lead the horizontal CDRL reviews, ensuring consistency, integration, and traceability across the program. You will work with data management and ensure all deliverables meet the rigorous digital engineering standards of the ACAT program.

Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status. This position is only located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, due to the special-access classified working environment and is not conducive to regular "telework" or remote schedules.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- CDR Support: Leading horizontal CDRL reviews to ensure cross-functional alignment during the Critical Design Review phase.
- Requirements Traceability: Utilizing DOORS, Cameo, and CREO to maintain strict requirements traceability throughout the system lifecycle.
- Data Management Integration: Providing technical direction to data management teams for the efficient handling of engineering deliverables.
- Compliance & Validation: Managing validation, data rights verification, and ensuring adherence to program requirements.
- Lifecycle Oversight: Assisting with CM/DM plan development, and supporting Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and technical reviews.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education: BS/MS eng., Computer science, software, mathematics, or physics.
- Experience: 3 yrs of directly related experience (2 yrs with MS degree) in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes.
- Tool Proficiency: Proven experience using DOORS and Cameo for systems engineering and requirements traceability.
- Program Knowledge: Direct experience working within the constraints and requirements of an acquisitions or sustainment program.
- Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data management, specifically regarding the delivery, storage, and management of technical data.
- Environment: Experience working across multiple levels of network classifications.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Configuration Management: Proven experience in Configuration Management (CM) processes, including baseline management, change control boards (CCB), and version control.
- Configuration Manager certification.
- Digital Ecosystems: Experience managing engineering files within a Digital Engineering ecosystem.
- Standards: Knowledge of Mil-HDBK-61B, DoD 5010.12, and/or EIA-649-1 guiding principles.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to align or realign deliverables with complex program outcomes.
