Job Description

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This is an onsite position.

Primary responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive facility management services essential for maintaining the operational readiness and safety of Army installations. This includes acting as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues, managing maintenance and repair activities, overseeing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with the Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
• Act as the primary liaison between unit leadership, facility occupants, and DPW to address all facility-related needs and concerns.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance and repair needs, reporting issues related to electrical, plumbing, and structural integrity.
• Track and manage work orders to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks while coordinating self-help repair initiatives with building occupants.
• Oversee and manage operational, maintenance, and repair budgets for assigned facilities, ensuring resource allocation aligns with operational needs.
• Serve as the unit's point of contact for the Organizational Inspection Program (OIP), ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards through energy, water, and waste management inspections.
• Facilitate building modifications and renovations, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements, and assist with new construction acceptance inspections.
• Provide accurate facility data for Installation Status Reports (ISR) and maintain comprehensive records of inspections, repairs, and compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with base agencies to establish, renew, and manage memorandums of support for facility operations.
• Compile and analyze data to support facility-related reports and assessments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Act as the Environmental/Safety Coordinator for Buildings 6002, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and safety protocols.
• Serve as the Service and Maintenance Coordinator for Buildings 6002 coordinating all maintenance and repair activities and assist the Service and Maintenance Coordinator for 6006 with similar actions, as necessary.
• Oversee Asset Management and Accountability for Buildings 6002, ensuring accurate tracking and management of facility assets.
• Manage Space Management for Buildings 6002, 6003, 6006, 4117, and 5100, optimizing the utilization of available space.
• Engage externally by attending the Emergency Management Working Group meeting, C5ISR Facilities Meeting, and DPW Customer Focus Meeting to ensure critical actions are handled within prescribed timelines and according to mission and operational requirements.
• Serve as a Contractor Escort, facilitating contractor access to Buildings 6002 to support ongoing projects and ensure completion of operational initiatives.
• Coordinate Repair & Maintenance efforts by escorting DPW personnel through Buildings 6002 to assist with space measurement, Facilities Individual Job Order Engineering Work Requests (IJO), and general facility upkeep.
• Facilitate the installation of new parking signs for the Capability Program Executive Senior leadership and enhancing parking area organization and visibility.
• Collaborate with security personnel on edits and revisions to the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) to ensure compliance with the latest guidelines.
• Develop Quick Reference Tools, including an updated EAP booklet that provides essential links to Emergency Management, Rally Points, and the help desk for security personnel.
• Support the CPE ISW PSM team by managing all team-related taskers, coordinating training events, and assisting with research, reporting, and data analysis.

Required Skills:
• Associate degree or 2 years technical school- Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline. 8 years of additional direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education
• A minimum three (3) years’ relevant experience.
