An additional 5.00 phr up to 40 hrs per week for H&W per w/d 015-4215 rev 33.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Laborer to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. The primary responsibilities include receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and various other tasks as assigned.


A Warehouse Laborer is needed to support the daily operations of Building 650 and ensure warehouse, material handling, receiving, delivery, and customer support requirements are completed safely and efficiently. The position will provide additional manpower to maintain operational requirements, support move orders, receive and distribute incoming materials and packages, prepare outgoing shipments, assist with classroom setups and breakdowns, and maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.



The additional employee will help ensure work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards. This position is also necessary to provide adequate staffing during periods of increased workload, employee absences, deliveries, and scheduled moves.

Hours are 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday



Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse machinery

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Good communication skills



Primary Duties:


  • Receive, unload, inspect, sort, and distribute incoming shipments and materials.

  • Prepare, package, and load outgoing shipments.

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as authorized.

  • Assist with warehouse moves, furniture moves, and classroom setups/breakdowns.

  • Transport materials, equipment, and packages between buildings as required.

  • Maintain accurate records of received and delivered materials.

  • Assist with inventory organization and warehouse housekeeping.

  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and work areas and report safety concerns.

  • Follow established SOPs, safety requirements, and company policies.

  • Provide professional and responsive customer service to internal customers.

  • Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

  • Also, the material Handler Laborer will be a backup for the post office as needed.



Qualifications:


  • Previous warehouse, logistics, material-handling, or related experience preferred.

  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more.

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Reliable attendance and ability to meet scheduled work requirements.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, management and customers.
