Location: Washington, DC

Job Type: Hybrid Initially 5 days then will go Hybrid when comfortable 2 days per week in office in Washington, DC

Description:
Our client seeks a Systems Analyst to support business analysis activities. The role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and surveys
• Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement
• Create detailed process maps and flowcharts
• Develop use cases and user stories
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solution feasibility
• Validate solutions through user acceptance testing
• Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
• Strong understanding of business processes and workflow design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Visio
• Experience with requirements gathering tools and methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMP)
• Experience in the government or healthcare sector
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
