Summary:
• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications supporting large-scale distributed computing clusters across the full software development lifecycle.
• Design and deploy solutions in Linux and AWS environments utilizing containerized architectures and modern CI/CD practices.
• Integrate advanced distributed technologies including C++, Python, Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, and Spring.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $271k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain Java-based applications supporting large-scale distributed computing environments.
• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Develop solutions that integrate and extend commercial (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) technologies.
• Deploy and manage software using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and modern CI/CD practices within containerized microservices architectures.
• Perform code reviews, architecture reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor production systems, resolve operational issues, and participate in Tier III support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers and system administrators to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
