Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer Linux systems and manage large-scale cloud repositories running Hadoop and Accumulo.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance across cloud environments to troubleshoot dataflow issues.
• Maintain system security, automate administrative tasks with Bash and Python, and manage configurations using Puppet.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Perform Linux systems administration, system patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
• Support and maintain large-scale Hadoop and Accumulo clusters and storage systems.
• Develop and maintain operational automation scripts using Bash and Python.
• Monitor system health and performance across cloud-based environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and data flow issues in real time.
• Administer user accounts, enforce access controls, and maintain system security requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure high reliability and continuous improvement.
