Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems and cloud-based analytics processing heavy data volumes.
• Utilize distributed computing frameworks and novel algorithms to manipulate and analyze massive data sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design, code, debug, and test robust software components.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $244k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop and maintain high-performance analytic solutions using Apache Spark, MapReduce, and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
• Write data analytics and novel algorithms utilizing tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Analyze requirements and provide technical input on system architecture, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS integration.
• Review, test, and debug software components to ensure adherence to functional requirements and resolve problem reports.
• Support dataflow engineering, database queries, and integration and test (I&T) procedures across complex architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and assist in the documentation of system designs and test results.
