Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and test backend Java services and REST APIs within Linux environments.
• Implement scalable persistence and business logic using Spring, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Automate cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration utilizing AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in an Agile development workflow using Git.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $305k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems.
• Architect and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs leveraging Java and JVM technologies.
• Build, containerize, and orchestrate services using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services.
• Perform test-driven development, unit and integration testing, and systematically resolve software problem reports.
• Provide critical engineering input on hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis from system level to component level.
• Drive DevOps and continuous integration best practices using Ansible, Terraform, and Git in an Agile environment.
