Job Description

1. Role Overview / Mission

Advantech GS Enterprises is hiring a senior Acquisition Analyst to support the RTSO Assistant Program Manager (APM) on a Department of Defense program. You'll track program status, analyze schedules and spending, and turn that information into clear updates that help leaders make decisions. This position is funded and ready to start now, so your analysis will guide the program from your first week.

2. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)

Give the RTSO APM fast, flexible support on program analysis, planning, and reporting as priorities shift.
Gather and analyze program data on schedule, deliverables, and spending, and summarize what it means for leadership.
Prepare briefings, status reports, and decision papers that are accurate, concise, and ready to use.
Coordinate with government leads, technical teams, and partner organizations to collect information and keep everyone aligned.
Track action items, deadlines, and risks, and follow each one through to resolution.
Help monitor spending against the program's spend plan, and flag variances early.
Use Microsoft Teams and the Office Suite to organize program information and keep collaboration running smoothly.

3. What Success Looks Like

At 90 days:

You understand the RTSO program's goals, stakeholders, acquisition milestones, and reporting cycle.
You produce regular status reports and briefings on your own, with little direction needed.
The APM relies on your analysis when preparing for meetings and decisions.
You've identified at least one way to improve how program data is tracked or reported, and put it in place.

At 1 year:

Your reports are the trusted source for program status, risks, and spending.
Leadership hears about schedule or funding issues early, while there's still time to act.
You've helped make spend-plan tracking more accurate and current.
The APM hands you larger analytical tasks and counts on you to complete them independently.

4. What You Bring (Required Skills & Experience)

10+ years of professional experience supporting the Department of Defense.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, both written and spoken.
A flexible, responsive approach focused on results.
Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
The ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
A cooperative working style and a track record of strong teamwork.
An active Secret clearance.
A bachelor's degree.

5. Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Qualifications)

An active TS/SCI clearance (highly desired).
Experience with Navy SIGINT systems.
Business financial management or spend plan management experience.
A master's degree.
PMP certification.
Agile certification(s).

If you meet the required qualifications but not every preferred one, we still encourage you to apply.
