Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating comprehensive expertise in directing complex warehousing and logistics operations, including receiving, stowing, packing, issuing, and transportation. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in aviation logistics, managing perpetual inventories and repair-and-return material accountability; 2) Aligning warehouse activities with rigorous federal audit guidelines, specifically Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) standards and Inventory Integrity Standards.; 3) Applying qualitative and quantitative analytical tools to evaluate carrier performance, assess receipt and shipment programs, and analyze station effectiveness reports such as Inform 21 and CASPER; and 4) Strong supervisory capabilities are required to plan schedules, set priorities, manage performance, administer minor disciplinary actions, identify training needs, and strictly execute federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will have expert level of knowledge, experience and demonstrated competence in the Warehousing functions Material accountability, Audit Readiness and Transportation Management and Navy ERP transactions.
- You will have knowledge of NAVSUP, NAVSUP WSS, and DoD supply regulations, including NAVSUP P-723, Supply Management Inspections (SMI), and Navy Working Capital Fund Plant Audit Checklist Inventory Key Controls (IKC).
- You will have knowledge in conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on Warehousing Procedures, Audit Readiness and N-ERP receiving, issuing, storage, and transportation ensuring FIAR compliance.
- You will develop reports regarding carrier performance, procedures, and practices as well as analysis and evaluation of effectiveness for receipt and shipment programs.
