Description:
On-site in Washington, DC Our client seeks a Lead Senior Collaboration Platform Designer to lead modernization and operational initiatives across their collaboration platform ecosystem. This role involves strategic design leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on technical guidance to drive platform evolution and user experience excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design of collaboration platform features and experiences
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Develop design systems and guidelines for consistency across platforms
• Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellence
• Stay current with emerging technologies and design trends in collaboration tools

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in platform design, preferably in collaboration tools
• Expertise in design systems, UX/UI patterns, and interaction design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating platform design leadership
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
