Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience such as 1) coordinating with department supervisors on administrative matters; 2) identifying discrepancies/concerns within healthcare system processes 3) recommending solutions to discrepancies; and 4) developing healthcare data reports using various healthcare software programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

- Program Manager: Consult, coordinate and facilitate improvement initiatives utilizing process improvement methodology to maintain processes that constantly meet or exceed accreditation requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and identify areas across the organization for improvement.
- Monitor various NHJAX programs and activities to ensure that programs and activities are ongoing, effective, efficient, appropriately documented and integrated with other NHJAX related programs and reflective of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
- Accomplishes this through the use of data from multiple sources including committee meeting minutes, Patient Safety Reports, Morbidity and Mortality reviews, and any additional sources as appropriate.
- Serve points of contact for TJC related issues and correspondence.
- Coordinates preparation and submission of the TJC application.
