[About the Role] Indotronix is seeking a highly skilled Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer Level 3 to join our dynamic team in Chandler, Arizona. This onsite position offers you the chance to lead impactful projects in aerospace innovation, working with advanced flight and simulation technologies. As a GNC Engineer, you'll drive critical solutions for aerospace and missile systems while collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the industry.
[Responsibilities]
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and verification of high-quality flight and simulation software
- Own the design, maintenance, and validation of 6-DOF simulations for flight algorithm development
- Optimize flight and simulation software for performance, robustness, and maintainability
- Define and execute analysis campaigns using trajectory optimization and evaluation tools
- Present technical results, risks, and recommendations to program leadership and stakeholders
[Required Skills and Experience]
- U.S. DoD Secret Clearance (active)
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, Master's with 3+ years, or PhD in relevant engineering discipline
- Proven experience with GNC concepts, algorithms, or analysis for aerospace/missile systems
- Demonstrated leadership or significant contributions in development, simulation, test, integration, or analysis for aerospace/autonomous systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C/C++ in a Linux environment
[Preferred Skills]
- Advanced degree in electrical, aerospace, or mechanical engineering
- Strong foundation in control systems theory, guidance law development, and flight software implementation
- Experience with state estimation, nonlinear filtering (Kalman, Extended, Unscented), and performance assessment
- Deep knowledge in target tracking, seeker systems, and measurement model development
- Expertise with multi-target tracking, data association, and track management in cluttered environments
- Strong Python and C/C++ coding skills; familiarity with Jira, version control, and CI tools on Linux
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams
