Overview:
By Light is seeking a highly experienced Software Architect to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing complex software solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of software development principles, architectural patterns, and modern technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and formulation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Proven experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with database systems and SQL.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with microservices architecture.

Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required.
