This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in program management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated program execution.
- Monitor program performance and provide regular status updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and regulatory standards.
- Lead program reviews and audits to assess program health and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience managing large, complex programs with multi-million dollar budgets.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes and contracts.
- Knowledge of cyber security and information technology programs.
- Familiarity with modeling, simulation, and training systems.
