On-site in Washington, DC Our client seeks a mid-level Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to administer and support production GCP environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with GCP services, infrastructure as code, and cloud security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure and services
- Implement infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform or similar tools
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance and costs
- Collaborate with development and operations teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
- Proven ability to work in an agile environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps methodologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with big data technologies
- Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent
