Location: Piketon, Ohio (Onsite, Client Site)
Clearance: DOE Q or L, or DoD Secret/TS
Employment Type: W2
Duration: 12 month contract with additional extension
Expected work hours: sixty (60) hours per week, ten (10) hours per day, six (6) days per week (Monday through Friday), between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with a half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous visual, audible, and/or physical control of uncleared personnel while inside security areas.
- Verify identification and badge credentials for all incoming personnel to confirm appropriate access levels.
- Ensure uncleared visitors and subcontractors adhere to established site security plans and procedures.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies per site security protocol, notifying appropriate personnel.
- Maintain current knowledge of security plans, emergency procedures, and operational requirements.
- Complete required documentation and incident reporting as directed.
- Operate a company vehicle when required, in compliance with DOT and site safety regulations.
- Active DOE Q or L, or DoD Secret/TS security clearance (required at time of start; no sponsorship provided for this assignment).
- Ability to work onsite in Piketon, Ohio.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (federally mandated per 10 CFR 707.4).
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain any required background investigation and reinvestigation.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or corrections.
- Prior experience working at a DOE or other federal/nuclear facility.
- Work may occur in an environmental restoration setting involving legacy/decommissioned facilities.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials, chemicals, or radiological areas if safety protocols are not followed; use of respirators/PPE may be required.
- Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work (up to 100 lbs. occasional force, 50 lbs. frequent force).
- Exposure to varying environmental/weather conditions, confined spaces, and heat/noise stress areas.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended shift durations.
- Competitive hourly W2 pay rate, commensurate with clearance level and experience.
- Travel expense reimbursement per company policy (no per diem/ETD provisions on this assignment).
