Responsibilities
This position serves as the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Office Manager for the Western Hemisphere Department within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Global Threat Reduction (GTR) Directorate, Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program. CTR supports U.S. national security by preventing the acquisition, proliferation, and use of WMD, related materials, technologies, and expertise.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

This position serves as the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Office Manager for the Western Hemisphere Department within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Global Threat Reduction (GTR) Directorate, Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program. CTR supports U.S. national security by preventing the acquisition, proliferation, and use of WMD, related materials, technologies, and expertise.
Responsibilities include:
- Serves as daily point person to the GS15 Department Chief.
- Manages Department-wide calendar and briefs upcoming trips to Department leadership.
- Develops, tracks, and maintains Department-wide processes and SOPs.
- Manages and tracks all executive-level Department engagements.
- Builds and maintains appropriate filing for all briefs, addressed RFIs/RFPs, and Policy or TRAC guidance to efficiently address future tasks.
- Proactively schedules internal meetings in advance of major milestones to prep the Department.
- Serves as main point for all new incoming hires, including setting them up on relevant distros and access to required files.
- De-conflicts events in advance before it becomes an issue for Department leadership.
- Attends all relevant CTR-wide meetings and actively takes relevant notes to disseminate to the department.
- Supports the planning, scheduling, and logistics of the quarterly Policy Working Groups.
- Support department-wide project planning and task tracking needs.
- Facilitate coordination and communication between government and A&AS personnel.
- Facilitate development of documents, reports, and presentations.
- Collect and prepare information for meetings with staff and outside parties and compose and prepare correspondences.
- Support conference room, event planning, and meeting management requests.
- Maintain roster and distribution list updates, new hire onboarding processes, records management, public affairs office approvals, and other needs as requested.
- Track and coordinate official taskers and suspense dates from leadership and any requests for information from internal and external clients. Support the management of internal and external tasking and reporting systems.
- Oversee department records management including but not limited to across multiple SharePoint and Teams sites.
- Maintain and communicate situational awareness by keeping leadership informed of relevant organizational events, key leader engagements, as well as tasks and other due outs.
- Ability to work on multiple projects which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion.
- Coordinate with other personnel across CTR departments to synchronize on daily operations and upcoming events.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree with 8 years of experience (or Bachelors Degree with 5 years, or Masters Degree with 3 years)
- Active Secret Clearance is required. US Citizenship is required.
- Experience and successful track record building effective relationship with clients and other stakeholders, understanding client's requirements and meeting client expectations
- Strong attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to write for Senior Leaders
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to be on site in Lorton, VA, up to 100% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience
- DTRA CTR or Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) or Counter WMD experience
